And so begins my chase "career". I had been interested in weather and severe storms all my life, but until I met Fred Ikard, from Cyril Oklahoma and a storm chaser since 1980,  I had no idea people actually chased storms. Fred took me on my first and only chase of 1985, but it was a good one.
